Step by step guide to making the artefact
1. First i began by getting the cotton sheets and cutting petal shapes out. I started wrapping them around the kebab stick sticking them down with sellotape.
Halfway through sticking the cotton petals down i glued some purple tissue paper on so i could begin gluing the rest of the petals down. Every so often i put a layer of tissue paper down. I finished of with a layer of tissue paper.
2. I then painted the top three quarters green and the bottom purple.
3. Once it dried i made two thorns out of air drying clay then stuck them to the green area on the stick. When it dried i painted them brown.
4. I then drilled a hole into the lid of the jar and pushed the stick in, i put some air drying clay around it on the underside of the jar lid. I used some blue tissue paper and glued it to the lid.
5. I then made more thorns and stuck them to the stick which was the other side of the jar lid.
6. The thorns on the green i painted brown and the thorns on the purple i panted brown.
7. I filled up the jar only a little so it didn't get the thorns wet and dropped in some red food coloring and some blue paint to make a purple/red colored liquid
